Mr. Othusitse Lebuletswe holds a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Public Administration, and a Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies. He was appointed to the BoFiNet Board in June 2018 and subsequently appointed Chairperson of the Finance and Audit Committee.
He rose through the ranks within the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, becoming a Director of Procurement in 2003 and later appointed Deputy Accountant General in 2008, until his retirement in November 2017. He has served on several boards as a board member and chairperson of the Finance and Audit Committee at Bamangwato Concessions Limited (BCL), Chairperson of the Board at Botswana Savings Bank (BSB), and Member of the Standards and Setting Committee of the Botswana Accountancy and Oversight Authority (BAOA).
Mr Mothusi Mpho Tladi is a Financial Markets and Technology professional with 19 years of experience in Banking, having began his career in the Telecommunications Sector. He has Regional Africa experience spanning over several African Countries.
He has Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSc) with a Minor in Economics from The George Washington University and MSc Strategic Management from The University of Derby.
Mr Tladi is a Member of The Institute of Directors South Africa, has attained several Professional Technology and Financial Markets Certifications. In addition, possesses a Diamond Foundation Certificate from The Debeers Group Institute of Diamonds obtained in 2021. Mr Tladi, a philanthropist, has sponsored The Maths and Science Awards at Naledi Secondary School annually since 2013. The majority of the awardees thereafter received The Botswana Exeminations Council’s BGSE National Top Achievers Awards.
Ms. Matshidiso Mookodi is currently serving as a Principal Accountant at the Construction Industry Trust Fund (CITF). Previously, Ms. Mookodi held significant positions at Bank of Botswana (BoB), where she served as a supervisor in the Bank's Accounting Department from 2003 to 2008. Following this, she ascended to the role of Head of the Finance unit, contributing her expertise from 2008 to 2020.
Ms. Mookodi initiated her career in the Audit Division at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999 and continued to excel until January 2003. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree obtained from the University of Botswana (UB) in 1999 and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional qualification acquired in 2005. In 2018, she furthered her knowledge by earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) from Botswana Accountancy College (BAC).
Ms. Mookodi is a fellow member in good standing of both the ACCA and the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
Ms. Neo Agatha Ndwapi brings over two (2) decades of strategic leadership experience across different industries. Currently serving as the Group Head of Human Capital at Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited(BIHL), she has demonstrated a profound understanding of human resources and organisational development.
Previously, Ms. Ndwapi held the position of Head of Human Capital at Access Bank where she was responsible for Recruitment and Selection, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning and Development, among others.
Mr. Molemisi Nelson Sechaba is the Head of Information Management at Debswana Diamond Company. As the Head of IM, he provides the vision, strategy, and leadership for developing and implementing information technology and digital initiatives to enable the business to attain its strategic imperatives.
Mr. Sechaba has 18 years of experience in delivering Information Technology (IT) platforms and methodologies in academia, mining, and banking industries. He is well-versed in application development, portfolio management, enterprise architecture, cyber security, and IT leadership. With a wealth of experience, he has successfully served in various leadership roles, including Senior Information Management (IM) Manager, IT Manager, IT Analyst, and IT Developer at Debswana. Additionally, he assumed the position of Head of IT Governance and Risk at the former Barclays Bank Botswana, followed by the role of Regional Senior IT Risk and Compliance at the Barclays Africa Office. In this capacity, he effectively managed a diverse portfolio spanning 10 countries.
Mr. Sechaba is passionate about strategy development and discovery, and business–IT alignment. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in IT Management and a degree in Information Science and Technology with secondary majors in Economics and Accounting. He also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management.
Ms. Malebogo Khanda-Wiktor holds a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Management, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a Diploma in Entrepreneurship, and a Diploma in Education. She has gone through Internet Governance training both in Europe and at the Africa School of Internet Governance.
Ms. Khanda-Wiktor plays various roles in cyber security, digital literacy, and internet governance forums both locally and internationally. Malebogo has worked on various projects, program developments, and implementation for Grassroot Soccer (GRS) in Botswana, South Africa, and Lesotho.
Ms. Khanda-Wiktor currently works as the Secretariat for Banking Industry Technology (BITS) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) to mobilise the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector functions for local professionals and businesses. She works as an adjunct lecturer for Botho University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Manfred is a seasoned professional with expertise in public procurement law and policy and has about 20 years of private and public sector work experience, serving in various capacities as an employee and procurement consultant.
As the founder of Golden Links Institute and its associated businesses, namely Golden Links Systems and Golden Links Prudential Services, Mr. Kgari has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen and commitment to advancing procurement practices. In 2017, he established an information technology business, Golden Links Systems. Mr. Kgari has also led the design, development, and commissioning of an e-procurement solution called New Gen Procurement Management System (NGPMS). This solution is used by some state-owned entities in the country.
Manfred Kgari has served the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board as a Member and Non-Executive Director – Supplies. Additionally, he was co-opted to the Botswana Qualification Authority Tender Committee. Furthermore, he served as a member of the Independent Complaints Review Committee (ICRC) for four (4) years. Presently, he holds the position of a member of the Public Procurement Tribunal, a successor to the ICRC.
Mr. Manfred Kgari holds a master’s in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham School of Law.
Professor Mosepele Mosepele is an Associate Professor at the University of Botswana, Faculty of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBiomedSc) in Medical Education, a Bachelor of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), both from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He has an Internal Medicine Residency from the University of Pennsylvania and a Fellowship in infectious diseases from Harvard Medical School, USA.
Professor Mosepele has more than 10 years of experience in the health and research industry. He has been engaged in more than 15 research grants funded by the United States (US), the United Kingdom (UK) governments, and the European Union. His total awards exceed USD 20 million. Most of his research projects focus on HIV infection/diagnosis/care/complications, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among people living with HIV, and finally, healthcare professional training. He has authored/co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and given more than 40 presentations at local and international academic meetings.
Professor Mosepele has successfully mentored multiple Master’s Degree and Research/Clinical Fellows in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He holds a seat as a Member of the Scientific Committee, International Workshop on Co-Morbidities and Adverse Drugs Reactions in HIV. He is also a member of the African Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Program (ACHAP), Human Research Development Council (Health Sub-Committee), and Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).
